Saison. Historically brewed on farms in Belgium, these beers were designed to refresh farmhands after a long day’s work. A medley of fresh oats, rye and barley create a harmonious malt balance with a select blend of noble hops in our version of this Belgian-style farmhouse ale. Literally meaning “hay reaper” or more simply “harvest” in Boontling, our Mowkeef Saison is spiced with coriander, star anise, and organic ginger to balance the fruity esters from the yeast.
