Hello beer lovers and welcome to another edition of the NorCal Beer Blog’s brew review.
Tonight’s featured beer is Bell’s Brewery Two Hearted Ale. I was excited to find this beer while visiting Arizona. Still not sure why we can’t get it in Northern California.
From the Bell’s Brewery website: “Bell’s Two Hearted Ale is defined by its intense hop aroma and malt balance. Hopped exclusively with the Centennial hop varietal from the Pacific Northwest, massive additions in the kettle and again in the fermenter lend their characteristic grapefruit and pine resin aromas. A significant malt body balances this hop presence; together with the signature fruity aromas of Bell’s house yeast, this leads to a remarkably drinkable American-style India Pale Ale.”

Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a large and dense white head and great lacing.
Aroma: Citrus, pine and floral hops with a nice malt sweetness mixed in for good measure.
Taste: Honey and sweet clean biscuit ma
