What do you get when you put craft beer and great food on a boat? You get the the Brew Grub Yacht Club, a beer and food pairing like no other for the upcoming Knoxville Beer Week.

Chef Drew McDonlad, owner of The Plaid Apron, has put together 8 courses to pair with 8 unique and exciting beers while going for a sunset cruise down the Tennessee River on the Volunteer Princess. The menu features many never before seen beers in Knoxville and locally sourced ingredients.

Schlafly Yakima Wheat
Cumberland Tomme’ – honey marcona tuille, berry gelee’

New Belgium Hop Kitchen IPA
Pickled Shrimp – Rice, shaved summer vegetables, chili aioli

Yazoo Embrace the Funk
Lamb – Whey Braised lamb neck, garlic, fillet green beans, balsamic

Terrapin Rye Cubed
Beet Tar Tar – roasted beets, arugula, spiced egg yolk, sourdough

Yazoo Summer Gose
Corned Beef – potato hash cake, roasted leeks, Mitchell Farm Brisket

New Belgium Peach Barrel-aged La Folie
Pork Belly – green tomato, sun gold cherries tomato, roasted
