A Bucksaw can collapse the largest of trees. It cuts deep, just like our Belgian Double IIPA. At 8.5% and almost 100 IBU, this beer is big on bite and aroma but a soft sweetness is lent by a generous addition of European Munich and Riverbend 6-Row Pale Malts. We used our favorite two Belgian yeast strains to impart a funky, yet sharp spice character. The addition of more than 2 lbs of Simcoe, Citra and Nelson Sauvin give this beer an earthy, yet sweet fruity flavor.
