Selkirk Abbey Huckleberry Chapel Kegged and Bottled

Selkirk Abbey Huckleberry Chapel

Selkirk Abbey kegged and bottled Huckleberry Chapel yesterday, just in time for the warmer weather to start here in northern Idaho. With only 4.7% ABV and a mere 20 IBU’s it is a beer you could enjoy more than a few of on a hot summer day without too much guilt. The huckleberry, which grows wild in the high mountainous areas of the region, is a tasty purple fruit unlike any other and can only be found in the mountains of Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Alaska and British Columbia.

Click! Distributing picked up a pallet of bottles from the brewery, so you should be seeing it on store shelves in the very near future. If you don’t be sure to ask for it! That way they know to start stocking Selkirk Abbey beers on their shelves!

Or…you could just get on down to the taproom and get yourself a nice cold glass when they open up tomorrow at 3pm! You could also wait until Thursday evening for Live Music, $4 Pints, $12 Growler F
