Fresh off the heels of Montgomery County Beer Week, Bethesda has a new venue featuring craft beers. TAPP’D Bethesda opens today at 4915 St. Elmo Avenue. The grand opening starts today at 2pm. The first 50 guests will receive a ticket for a free draft beer. TAPP’D’s signature drafts (see below) will be priced at $4 all day and samples of the menu will be passed from 4pm to 6pm.
The beer list features 42 drafts and over 100 bottles and cans (also available via Tap Hunter). Drafts include The bottles feature a fair number of macros (and macro-owned beers) but also local favorites like Flying Dog and Manor Hill and regional and national craft producers like Samuel Adams, Dogfish, and New Belgium. The drafts include a bevy of locals and well-known breweries like Uinta, Allagash, and Sculpin, as well as three “TAPP’D” branded beers (a dark mild, blonde, and Irish red).
