Winter showed up again Tuesday, reminding us that we are not quite out of the season for big, malty beers. In a case of perfect timing, Blue Corn is having a special barleywine tapping event Thursday night. In addition to unveiling the 2016 edition of one of their finest seasonals, they will also be tapping three special aged versions — cellar aged, apple brandy barrel aged, and a small-format whiskey barrel aged.
