The Week Ahead in Beer: ABQ breweries step up to help once again

Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s six breweries, one in Los Alamos, and one in Moriarty also joining the party.

Stoutmeister puts on his serious face to handle The Week Ahead in Beer.

This week will feature a lot of our breweries giving back to the community, and not just locally. Two breweries are stepping up to help Puerto Rico with separate events. Duel ABQ will host Albuquerque for Puerto Rico on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m., featuring live music from Keith Sanchez and the Moon Thieves, Reviva, and Jackie Zamora. There will also be live art, poetry, a raffle, and a foosball tournament. There is a suggested $5 donation, plus $1 from each pint sold will be donated. For those with a lot more money on hand, head over to Dialogue on Monday for a fundraiser at 6 p.m. Wild Belle will perform, and a slew of famous folks will be on hand. Tickets cost $50
