Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with the reunified edition of The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s four breweries and one newcomer down in Socorro also joining the party. We tried hard to keep the state edition going, but without participation from the breweries outside the I-25 corridor, it was futile.

From time to time, two or more of our local breweries have teamed up on a beer. Thursday will mark the debut of the first collaboration between Blue Corn and Duel up in Santa Fe. The beer itself is called Keenendrem (they spell it fancier than this, but we can’t make a backwards “e” without switching our language to Klingon, or something of the sort, here on WordPress). It is a Belgian-style black ale made with Trappist yeast, American hops, and German malts. It checks in at 6.45-percent ABV and 75 IBU. It will be
