The Week Ahead in Beer: Bow & Arrow earns some well-deserved recognition

Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s eight breweries, one in Los Alamos, one in Moriarty, one in Red River, one in Silver City, and one in Truth or Consequences also joining the party.

We were struggling with how to lead this roundup, what with no major can/bottle releases (!) pending for this week. Then along comes some good news from the folks at Brewbound. They selected six breweries from around the country for their annual Rising Stars, one of which is located right here. Bow & Arrow joins Athletic Brewing (Stratford, Conn.), Green Bench Brewing (St. Petersburg, Fla.), Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers (Framingham, Mass.), Other Half Brewing (Brooklyn), and Urban Roots Brewery & Smokehouse (Sacramento).
