Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s six breweries, one in Los Alamos, and one in Moriarty also joining the party.

My personal favorite beer holiday is back Thursday as International Stout Day returns. This annual celebration of the darkest of beers is always a treat, even in the wake of Halloween. As always, it is a great time to go all over town and try some new stouts and old favorites. So where are all of those stouts on tap right now? Bombs Away just released Stockpile Stout back on Friday, so that is fresh and delicious. Sadly, Bosque is out of Driftwood, but a fresh batch is coming soon. Whether it will be on tap by Thursday is unknown. Bow & Arrow doesn’t have a traditional stout, but it does have Black Chandelier, a Belgian stout. Boxing Bear has a tripleheader of sto
