Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s four breweries and one down in Socorro and the other in Los Alamos also joining the party. Stoutmeister puts on his serious face to handle The Week Ahead in Beer. There are two big beer events this weekend, one in Albuquerque and one down in Silver City. The latter is Toad Fest, the former is Tart at Heart. They are two very different events, but both celebrate beer, so just pick which one fits best. In the cast of Tart at Heart, you can still buy tickets online for this event at Sister Bar, which starts at 1 p.m. (2 p.m. for general admission) on Saturday. It is once again a celebration of sours, goses, and other unique beers from all around the world. There will be 20 different beers, with unlimited sampling.
