Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s six breweries, one in Los Alamos, and one in Moriarty also joining the party.

UPDATE: We received word directly from the brewer at Lava Rock that his brewery is not opening this Friday, even though the Albuquerque Journal said it was. Well, darn it. Anyway, Lava Rock is planning on opening on Feb. 16, provided the final permits fall into place. We now continue with the rest of our original intro. … Then on Saturday, the grand opening will be underway at High and Dry Brewing. All five regular beers will be available for the first time, plus a seasonal. There will be food trucks and plenty of additional fun to be had.
