The preliminary round of the annual New Mexico IPA Challenge is just 10 days away at the Duel ABQ Taproom. You can get your tickets online or at many of the participating breweries. There will be 39 breweries offering up their finest IPAs at this event, with the field to be narrowed down to about 16 for the remaining three rounds, with all of it concluding July 29 at Steel Bender Brewyard. Fear not, no one has to sample all 39. Figure on two trays, alternating by customer, or perhaps even three this year. Either way, it never hurts to start working on prepping your palate early.
