The Week Ahead in Beer: Tractor revs up another charitable year

Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s six breweries, one in Los Alamos, and one in Moriarty also joining the party.

The good folks at Tractor are once again relaunching their Beer for a Better Burque program. The kickoff party is set for Thursday at Wells Park, starting at 6 p.m. RJ Perez will provide the music from 8 p.m. onward. The four non-profits who will be the beneficiaries this year are Explora, Cancer Services of New Mexico, The Rio Grande Down Syndrome Project, and Equality New Mexico. One dollar from every beer sold Thursday will go to the non-profit of your choosing. Then, the first Monday of every month will see the same deal. We applaud Tractor and all of our breweries for their generosity in giving back to worthy non-profits and charities.
