The Week Ahead in Beer: Monsoon madness provides a nice cool down

Rain, glorious rain, oh how we have missed you. While it’s not always ideal for our summer patio days, the monsoons have cooled us down after a rough stretch of unrelenting heat, and frankly, we always prefer our beer-drinking temperatures to be a little less than surface-of-the-sun hot. As things cool down outside, it’s a bit more mellow of a week, with just a couple canned releases announced (so far) and a fairly wide variety of new brews on tap. Hey, we could all use a week to just chill out and kick back.

New Draft:

Bombs Away tapped Night Vision Goggles, a dry stout. Bosque added Hatfield Lager, a hoppy little fella brewed with wine yeast. High and Dry tapped more Hurry Sundown (Wheat Ale), How Do You Spell Kolsch?, and Sovereign Immunity (Hazy IPA). La Cumbre added Cognoscenti, an Italian kellerbier. Marble recently added Cool Dad (Cold IPA). Ponderosa rolled out Raspberry Wheat
