Bosque’s new brewhouse is up and running

It has been well over 24 hours since Bosque Brewing’s new system went online for the first time. Heck, it’s even been 24 hours since I stopped by to check things out, and finally I’m getting around to the story. High school baseball is time-consuming, people.

Brewer John Bullard sits atop his throne, er, brewhouse, after finishing his first batch of beer on the new system.

Anyway, as I said, I had the chance to visit Bosque just as they had finished with their first creation on their sparkling new brewhouse. This 15-barrel beauty performed better than anyone expected, or so brewer John Bullard and co-owner Gabe Jensen told me. They brewed up a batch of Brewer’s Boot on there, though the gravity might be a little higher than normal. Hey, it’s a new system, everyone was learning. In the end, though, just about everything went without a hitch.

The new system is a technological wonder. I don’t have an engineering degree, so I can’t really explain what everything there does or does not do.
