It has been well over 24 hours since Bosque Brewing’s new system went online for the first time. Heck, it’s even been 24 hours since I stopped by to check things out, and finally I’m getting around to the story. High school baseball is time-consuming, people. Brewer John Bullard sits atop his throne, er, brewhouse, after finishing his first batch of beer on the new system. Anyway, as I said, I had the chance to visit Bosque just as they had finished with their first creation on their sparkling new brewhouse. This 15-barrel beauty performed better than anyone expected, or so brewer John Bullard and co-owner Gabe Jensen told me. They brewed up a batch of Brewer’s Boot on there, though the gravity might be a little higher than normal. Hey, it’s a new system, everyone was learning. In the end, though, just about everything went without a hitch. The new system is a technological wonder.
