Greetings New Mexico craft beer lovers, this is E-Rock, back to bring you this installment of The Week Ahead in Beer. This column is hand-crafted to keep you up to date on all of the seasonal beers, news, and events served up at breweries and taprooms in New Mexico. E-Rock, left, has uncovered all the beers worth sneaking up on this week. ABQ Beer Week has begun, and several breweries from around the country will be holding special tastings in various bars and beer stores throughout the Duke City. As this column is dedicated to seasonal beers brewed throughout the state of New Mexico, I will continue to do what I do best and focus only on brews native to the Land of Enchantment. The big news this week is the 505-2014 Collaboration Beer, which will be released on Thursday. Described as a Red Rye Pale Ale and coming in at an ABV of 4.6 percent, this beer was brewed by Il Vicino, La Cumbre, Bosque, Chama River, Nexus, and Marble.
