The former Market Street Broiler has new owners! The Porcupine Pub in Cottonwood Heights recently purchased the historic Salt Lake City building from Gastronomy Inc. late last week. Market Street Broiler’s coveted club licenses (unfortunately for the new owners) was not part of the sale. The club license was returned to the DABC. As with origianl Porcupine Pub in Cottonwood Heights, the new pub will operate with a full-service restaurant license. The menu and their 24 tap beer selection will also be similar.
I’m sure a pub of it’s size and it’s proximity to the UofU will make it an instant success. No info yet on when the pub will open.
