Tuesday should be a fun day as ABQ Beer Week kicks back into full gear. It features two major food-oriented events, plus some additional festivities. Plus, this here Stoutmeister returns from Chicago (albeit later at night). Tuesday boasts more tastings, tappings, food pairings, a beer dinner, and a battle between New Mexico and California. Featured event What: NM vs. CA Rare Beer Night. Where: The Stumbling Steer. When: 4 p.m. to close. Cost: No cover charge. Details: Sierra Nevada has sent nine beers, including two on cask, to compete with the Steer’s house beers. Sample away and figure out who goes home with the crown. The SN beers are the Porter, Blindfold Black IPA, Southern Hemisphere Fresh Hop Ale, Hoptimum (DIPA), Dogtown Pale Ale, Kellerweis, Summerfest Lager, Sno Wit Whole Cone Imperial IPA (on cask), and Torpedo Extra IPA (on cask).
