KC Nanobrew Fest Around the Corner and the Rest of June 2014

The first annual Kansas City Craft Beer Week has come and gone with a bang. Due to a variety of reasons, the only event I was able to attend was Peter Bouckaert’s visit to Bier Station on Friday night. It was an amazing event that I might write more on later. Boulevardia has come to a close. If you follow Facebook and Twitter, there seemed to be rather mixed reviews of the weekend festivities. More on that later, too.

Tour of KC Real Ale Fest – June 21

We just heard about the Real Ale Fest. (My bad.) There will be 50 beers and nine firkins of real ale at this event out at New Longview. VIP tickets get you in THREE HOURS before everyone else. So if you want all the beers to yourself, spring for the big ticket.
