The Week Ahead in Beer State Edition: New breweries to the north and south

Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with the second half of the now-divided Week Ahead in Beer. This edition covers all the breweries outside of Bernalillo and Sandoval Counties. From Taos to Santa Fe to Farmington to Las Vegas in the north, to Portales, Artesia, Silver City, and Las Cruces in the south, this edition will keep you up to date every week with as many breweries as we can reach. I’ll be handling both editions (for now), at least until we fill the spots in the new Brew Crew Bullpen (more on that in a week or so).

With all that said, it’s a relatively quiet week up north save for one piece of news for a future brewery. The Los Alamos Beer Co-op has found a home. They will be taking over the space at 163 Central Park Square formerly occupied by Canyon Bar & Grill. LABC projects to open in early 2015 and come next summer they will have the space
