Iconic Brisbane venue, the Belgian Beer Café announces closure, American export Buffalo Bar is set to open in the premises late November.

Inner-city’s dining and drinking stalwart of more than a decade, the Belgian Beer Café Brisbane, will be serving last drinks on Sunday October 5 in a move that building co-owner, Michael O’Brien of the O’Brien Catering Group describes as a new era for the heritage-listed building.

After an exhaustive tender process, Michael is delighted to announce that he has selected Simon O’Brien and his team at Fortitude Valley’s Mighty Mighty cue & brew as new tenants for the magnificent building on the corner of Mary and Edward Street.

Michael looks to their tenure with much excitement for the future of one of Brisbane’s favourite venues.
