The Hop Off Dinner will make its 2015 return at a new location, the Post Office Hotel in Coburg, on Wednesday May 13. The Hop Off is a night of friendly rivalry and good times as representatives from the Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA) and Good Beer Week go head to head to see who can match the best beer and food combination. The AIBA judges, the official winners of last year’s dinner, will be looking to retain the title! The beers are selected and matched by the expert teams representing both the AIBA and Good Beer Week. This year’s dinner will be hosted by beer writer and advocate Peter Mitcham of Beer Blokes (AKA Professor Pilsner). The Hop Off Dinner is the beer-lovers’ chance to meet the 2015 AIBA judges, who are 60 prolific beer and brewing experts from around the globe and share a three-course meal, matched with 2014 AIBA award-winning beers.
