Southport Visiter Each October the local branch of CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale for Southport and West Lancs) runs its own Oktoberfest in the form of the Sandgrounder Beer Festival, which has taken place since 2000, this therefore being the sixteenth such occasion.
