Lizard Tail celebrates an outstanding 2015 and aims for a bigger space in 2016

Lizard Tail hopes to eventually move out of their current location into a proper brewing space.

A lot of things have occupied the space where Lizard Tail currently resides, but few have been as overwhelmingly successful. Owner Dan Berry spoke with me over a delicious tasting flight, telling me that they were actually surprised at how well received their beer and location have been since opening in this space back in August 2014.

Because of their smaller brewing capabilities at the location, some of the beers have been selling so fast that it is as excellent as it is tough for them. Their Irish Red outsold their IPA, which meant they had to really increase the amounts of certain types of beer. For a small location, though, they’re boasting a hefty 15 available on tap beers at the moment.

For such a small place, they sure do brew a wide variety of beer.

Dan said 2016 will be a great year for them to grow. They’ll be looking at larger brewery spaces to expand their production and gear and
