From a press release: Victory Brewing Co. is turning 20 and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate! Join us on Thursday, March 10th as we pour 20 beers for 20 years, commemorating this momentous occasion with founder Bill Covaleski and the Victory crew, and toasting to the future for Victory, which announced their exciting merger with Southern Tier last week! Highlighting the list are Brett Mason and Brett Dixon, an exciting two-part project between Victory and Bluejacket. Based off the same recipe, each beer utilizes both Victory’s house lager yeast and Bluejacket’s house Brettanomyces yeast. Brett Mason, brewed at Bluejacket, employs a mixed fermentation technique, combining both yeast strains in primary fermentation. While Brett Dixon, brewed at Victory, undergoes primary fermentation with their house lager yeast, followed by a secondary fermentation with Bluejacket’s unique Brett.
