Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s six breweries and one down in Socorro and one in Los Alamos also joining the party. Stoutmeister puts on his serious face to handle The Week Ahead in Beer. One of the best charity events that Marble puts on every year is back this Saturday. The annual Mountain Rescue Brew Fest runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the brewery. The event raises money for the Albuquerque Mountain Rescue Council to buy the equipment they need to save lives. There will be three rounds of silent auctions and a raffle that does not require you to be present to win. There will be commemorative T-shirts and pint glasses, plus lots of live music (see the Marble entry below for the band lineup) and food trucks all day and night.
