An in-depth look at Saturday’s many beer-laden events

As we noted back in The Week Ahead in Beer, this Saturday is chock-full of beer-soaked events in Albuquerque and points nearby. To help everyone pick out where to go, we offer up a more detailed look at all of them.

We already covered ULLR Fest in Los Alamos, with an updated entry for Boxing Bear (thanks, Justin!), so you can also consider that fun annual event. Here are all the others. All times listed are for Saturday unless noted.

Out of town events

Sierra Blanca 6th Annual Oktoberfest

• When: 2-9 p.m.
• Where: Sierra Blanca Brewing, Moriarty
• How much: $12 for Sam’s Famous Bratwurst Dinner (kids 12 and under are free)
• Live music: Tom Williams and Full Moon
• Other fun stuff: There will be a kids’ zone, so rest easy, parents. Kids also get a free plate with a hot dog, chips, and a soda.
• Special beer(s): Oktoberfest and Whiskey Stout

Atalaya RescueFest

• When: 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
• Where: Second Street original location
• How much: No cover
• Live mus
