The Week Ahead in Beer: A pair of fests stand out during quiet times

Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s six breweries, one in Los Alamos, one in Moriarty, and one in Las Cruces also joining the party.

After all the excitement of the past couple of weeks, things are looking pretty quiet for the next seven days. There are a couple festivals not on brewery grounds worth noting, both of which we will preview in separate stories. Saturday marks the return of Toad Fest to Little Toad Creek in Silver City, which is a great place to get away from it all for the weekend. If you want to stay here and indulge in some 90’s punk rock, tacos, and beer, the Sabroso Festival will be out at Isleta Pavilion on Sunday.
