This beautiful little beer could only be a product of the 21st Century.  Playing off the German classic style, Right Proper’s Berliner Weisse is a modern marvel but keeps the historic greatness of the beautiful beer with a small stature of 3.8% alcohol by volume. Much more malt-tonic than heavy ale, this beer hums along with a tart tongue-tickling carbonation. Part beer, part grapefruit juice, and all probiotic, this beer is an incredible addition to the DC brewing scene. A standout amongst small beers, really the cream of the crop when it comes to local sour beers. Diamonds, Fur Coat, Champagne goes for $5.45 a glass and $12.70 a growler fill at Right Proper’s Brookland Production House.
