The Week Ahead in Beer: Marble steps up for volunteer first responders once again

Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. The annual Mountain Rescue Brew Fest returns to Marble Brewery downtown this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. This 10th annual fundraiser helps the Albuquerque Mountain Rescue Council, an all-volunteer organization that helps lost and injured people in the Sandia Mountains and other nearby wilderness areas, purchase the equipment that they need to do just that. There are three rounds of silent auctions, a huge raffle with multiple prizes (you do not need to be present to win), and special commemorative shirts and glasses for sale.
