Hidden Mountain Brewing celebrates its grand opening at long last

This Friday and Saturday, Hidden Mountain, the brewery formerly known as Blue Corn, is celebrating its grand opening at their South Side (and only) location at long last, and they’re pulling out all the stops.

Slightly delayed by COVID restrictions, the Hidden Mountain team wanted to wait for the most opportune moment to throw a party worthy of their grand rejuvenation. After all, they didn’t just rebrand and change their name; they became a completely new concept with a whole new menu, a new attitude, and a ton of fresh ideas.

Who’d have thought the pandemic would turn out to be a great time to reinvent oneself? Okay, so more than a few of us.

Well, Blue Corn, I mean Hidden Mountain — many pardons! — will kick off the festivities with a bonafide ribbon cutting at 3 p.m. on Friday, and continue on with cask ale tapping at 4:30, and a prize raffle at 6.
