Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s eight breweries, one in Los Alamos, one in Moriarty, one in Red River, one in Silver City, and one in Truth or Consequences also joining the party. It still feels a little too warm outside for autumn ales and lagers, but we have all seen many an Oktoberfest brew hit shelves and taps around the state already. Another fall staple, Marble’s Pumpkin Noir, returns this Wednesday in cans and on draft at all three taprooms. Yes, it is already pumpkin beer time. Can we all handle it? Well, this is probably the best annual pumkin release in the state, so let’s just roll with it.
