Stout Challenge XI: Can Canteen become the first back-to-back winner?

Super Bowl weekend is upon us, which means it is time for the Dark Side Brew Crew’s annual Stout Challenge. For the second year in a row we are changing things up slightly, with a new location and on a different day.

In the past, we have usually held this blind-taste test of the finest local stouts at Franz Solo’s house, but due to COVID-related precautions, we are moving for the second time. After our friend Dan squeezed us into his cozy little house last year, we are headed to Andrew’s spacious downtown condo, which is where we held our portion of the take-home IPA Challenge in 2020 (and several bottle shares since then).

We are also going to hold the event on Saturday night, instead of right before the game on Sunday, as that just worked out better for everyone. As of this writing, at least six (and possibly seven) of the nine Crew members will be in attendance. We may
