The Week Ahead in Beer: Mardi Gras blows up even before Tuesday

There are a few new brews this week, but the big happening is the return of Mardi Gras celebrations to the breweries. It has been a long time since they have been able to celebrate this annual carnival, so quite a few places are going all out this Saturday and Sunday. In a way, this is one of those test celebrations, to see how much we are all ready to party again for one of the great drinking holidays. It is a precursor to St. Patrick’s Day, and Cinco de Mayo, and all else that is to come in 2022.

Brew Lab 101 will release X-IPA 8.0 Haze on the Horizon and Strawberry Peak Cider by this weekend. Differential tapped a Chocolate Cherry Vanilla Stout. Ex Novo rolled out Indecisive Pale Ale.
