The Ides of Smarch (it may be a made up month from The Simpsons, but we denizens of Burque all know the fickle and ever changing nature of this particular month) are upon us! Stouts, Irish Red Ales, meats, potatoes, cabbage, green beer, and stout cakes mean that spring has nearly sprung! This one hits a little different, a little more close to the heart since we were robbed of what is one of our favorite celebratory times of year for 2020 and 2021 (damn you, COVID). So anyway, the weather is typically Smarchy (Burque springtime rules apply) — patios one day, winter gear the next. It’s all good. Enjoy some brews and celebrations for St. Patrick’s Day, with spring break on deck. Slainte! New Draft: La Cumbre will have Lager Softly on Friday.
