Back in 2014 we visited PA Flavor and enjoyed a great event showcasing local craft beers, foods and other related offerings - see here for the article. Alas in 2015 we had other obligations but this year our plans fell into place so on Saturday April 23 we headed to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and after checking into our hotel embarked on the 45 min walk out to the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex.

The annual State College Brew Expo was held for the 17th year on Saturday August 15, 2015, at Tussey Mountain Ski Resort in Happy Valley, Pennsylvania. This year around 40 breweries from across the nation were featured together with seminars and live music.

Last weekend we attended a couple of the numerous local Oktoberfest events that were being held in the State College area. These were the Tussey Mountain Oktoberfest and Olde New York Oktoberfest.

Happy Valley's annual beer festival was held once again on Saturday August 16, 2014, at Tussey Mountain Ski Resort just outside of State College, Pennsylvania. State College Brew Expo has been held for 16 years now and also has a new slogan "Good Beer, Good Music, Great Cause!".

Conservation Colorado is putting on its 4th annual SAVE THE ALES Fundraising and Beer Tasting Event in Denver on September 5th. This event brings together CoCo members, community supporters and Colorado beer lovers to raise awareness and celebrate the great beers of our state, which are made possible through our clean air, water and a stable climate.

We made the 88 mile drive through the Appalachian Mountains from State College to the State Capital of Harrisburg for PA Flavor - the 'Ultimate Beer & Food Pairing' event.

Happy Valley Brewing Company will be holding their "Grand Opening and 200th Anniversary" on April 18-20, 2014. This Craft Beer event, being held in Happy Valley (Pennsylvania), is called "Hopstock"!

Come join us for a three day gala and release of many new beers on tap and cask including the 2nd year brew of the infamous Window Licker Barley Wine!

Following the success of Zeno's Kitchen Sink Fest on September 28 we were hoping for a repeat in early 2014, to our surprise the even was repeated in a mere 6 weeks on Saturday November 9!

Whilst attending GABF 2013 we had included some extra time to provide us with the opportunity to visit some of Denver's many breweries and craft beer bars.
