Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s four breweries and a pair of newcomers, one down in Socorro and the other in Los Alamos, also joining the party. Stoutmeister puts on his serious face to handle The Week Ahead in Beer. Well, hello there, festival season. Good to see you again. Promise to take it easy on us this year, right? No? Oh, boy, here we go again. In case you had not heard, Hopfest is this Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Isleta Casino. Multiple local breweries will be involved, including Tractor, Santa Fe, Marble, and more. Tickets are still available online. We will have a full preview running Thursday with updated beer lists where available. If you have a hankering for getting out of town, however, head to Durango for the San Juan Brewfest, also on Saturday.
