Boese Brothers’ Los Alamos taproom quietly opens its doors

The Boese Brothers taproom in Los Alamos is now open for business.

Los Alamos is a pretty small town, so most people here are probably already aware that Boese Brothers’ latest taproom opened two weeks ago. I was out of town and missed the grand opening, and I finally made it over last Wednesday. It’s about what you’d expect: a cool vibe, a few big screen TVs, some games, a good selection of drinks, and delicious sandwiches.

Chow down on some tasty sandwiches to go with your favorite beers.

I arrived just before 9 p.m. The place was about half full, but a particularly rowdy table made it sound closer to completely full. The sandwich-preparer was packing things up, but he kindly agreed to make one last meal, a green chile grilled cheese panini, paired with jalapeno potato chips. It was excellent. I ordered my usual beverage at Boese, the Dr. Strangehop. There were several other beers and Desert Dog ciders were available as well, which I’ll have to explore in future visits.
