One of Denver’s oldest craft breweries—and one of my personal favorites—is turning TWENTY-FIVE! And they are celebrating in a *big* way. On Saturday, June 22nd, Great Divide Brewing Company is throwing a block party at its original location (2201 Arapahoe Street, where it all began). And wow do they have some exciting beers lined up. Making their debut at the 25th Anniversary party are two brand new beers: BIG Yeti (pictured below), a 13.5% imperial stout, and an 8% Double Hazy IPA, both of which will be available in 19.2oz cans to-go and on draft. Yeti has long since topped my list of “best stouts,” so imagine my delight when Great Divide announced that there will be at least 14 Yeti variants pouring at the celebration, including some old favorites (Chocolate Oak Aged and Oatmeal), plus new creations (S’mores and <OMG!> Maple Pecan). … |
