We cannot guarantee this level of shenanigans at whichever beer festival you choose.
Isn’t it great when two beer festivals are on the same day? Yeah, when you get to try to weigh the pros and cons of going to one instead of the other. That is so much fun!
Well, as your local beer-writing collective, we felt it is our duty to try to help everyone make up their minds. Most of the Crew is working or broke or just plain M.I.A., so as of now, only I am heading over to the seventh annual NM Brew Fest on Saturday inside Villa Hispana at the State Fairgrounds. This does not mean that ABQ Corks & Brews, set for the Rail Yards south of downtown, is not worth considering. (For those who want to get out of town, there is also Ullrfest on Pajarito Mountain above Los Alamos, which we covered Thursday.)
Basically, if you are just a beer geek, head for NMBF. If you are more of a foodie who likes craft beer, Cork & Brews may be more your thing. But, again, let’s run the stats and see how the two fests
