Sidetrack looks get to back on track as its 5th anniversary approaches

Things are a little quieter around the bar at Sidetrack these days, but the brewery staff remains hopeful for the return to normalcy in 2021.

Throughout 2020, most individuals and businesses alike have had to set aside any big plans and focus on adapting to the ever-changing regulations and curveballs being thrown at all of us. Sidetrack Brewing Company was not an exception to this, said co-owner Dan Herr, in a series of email responses to us to kick off the 2020-21 edition of our annual Look Back/Look Ahead Series.

“This whole thing so far has been unexpected and unique … but, still the same in that we’re doing our best to provide a comfortable, clean and safe establishment to showcase the beer we are proud of and work so very hard to produce,” Herr wrote.

The sheer number of changes that businesses have had to make this year is enough to make anyone’s head spin, he wrote.
