The Week Ahead in Beer: A stout for Ukraine and farewell to a favorite spot

The dynamic duo of Franz Solo (left) and Stoutmeister will keep you covered on all things beer each week.

We are just scratching the surface of the busy times to come, but this weekend is pretty packed. ReSource Brewing has created a special imperial stout to benefit Ukraine, and the collective of Brew Lab 101, Canteen, High and Dry, Nexus, Steel Bender, Tractor and Rowley Farmhouse Ales will also be putting it on tap this Friday. We will have a lot more on that special beer in an upcoming separate story. This weekend also marks the final days of operation of the original Second Street location, dubbed The Oldery by the locals. Luke will have much more on that and the future of the entire Second Street operation later this week, but if you get the chance, join some of us in the Crew for a final pint on Saturday.
