The Week Ahead in Beer: A taproom returns to active duty

Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. This column covers all the breweries in Bernalillo and Sandoval counties, with Santa Fe’s eight breweries, one in Los Alamos, one in Moriarty, one in Red River, one in Silver City, and one in Truth or Consequences also joining the party.

Anyone know where spring went? New Mexico is usually good for one freak storm after we officially hit springtime, and apparently this is it (or so we hope). Anyway, we do not have any particular subject to lead this here weekly roundup, so consider this the notebook version. First up, Tractor is reopening its Los Lunas taproom after a long shutdown. It all starts Thursday at 2 p.m., with plenty of beer, cider, and cocktails available, but the kitchen will not yet be open. This was, to the best of our knowledge, the last of the closed taprooms to reopen, another positive sign for the craft
