Between the war in Ukraine and the wildfires tearing through parts of New Mexico, there are a lot of people in need right now, and breweries are still stepping up to help. Downshift Brewing is releasing Gratitude Session IPA at Hidden Tap in Ruidoso now and at Outpost 1706 in Old Town soon, and $1 from every pint sold for the rest of 2022 will go to the Shelter Fund of the Community Foundation of Lincoln County, helping the people who lost their homes to the recent McBride Fire that ripped through Ruidoso. Meanwhile, Tumbleroot Brewery and Distillery is hosting The Concert for Ukraine on Thursday at 6 p.m., featuring top Santa Fe bands including Joe West, Nosotros, and Boomroots Collective. Bosque North and Restoration Pizza will team up with Sandoval County for a Fire Relief Drive, collecting much-needed items like bottled water, non-perishable food, baby items, and more.
