The Week Ahead In Beer: Pink Flowers and Pink Boots!

Spring hath sprung! Pink and white flowers abound in trees everywhere, the skies are at war between wind, rain, snow, and sun. Catch some awesome hops for a marvelous cause this Thursday, and then indulge in all things coffee and chocolate and beyond, this weekend at Southwest Chocolate & Coffee Fest. Hop Heroine Pale Ale, a Pink Boots Society New Mexico Chapter benefit/collaboration beer made from New Mexico-grown Pilsner and Vienna Malts and hopped with the Pink Boots Society’s fifth annual hop blend of HBC 630 (sweet fruit and berry candy – see our review of Early Winters IPA for more on this hop, which we loved), Idaho Gem, Loral, Talus, and Triumph, will release at the following participating breweries on draft and/or in cans this Thursday (can and draft availability will vary by location): Bosque, Brew Lab 101, Canteen, Ex Novo, La Cumbre, Red Door, Rio Bravo, Rowley Farmh
