The Week Ahead in Beer: Steel Bender barrel ages a beautiful brew

Greetings, New Mexico craft beer lovers. Stoutmeister here with The Week Ahead in Beer. Last year, multiple local breweries joined with others across the nation to create their own takes on the Black is Beautiful stout recipe, all while benefiting local charities. Steel Bender told us back then that they were holding some of their batch back to be aged in two Willett Bourbon barrels for six months, and if you saw their social media posts on Tuesday, then you are probably aware that the end result has been canned.
