As anyone who can read a calendar knows, the infamous “holiday” of 4/20 falls on a Friday this year. While that might have a bunch of people enjoying a cousin plant of hops, most of beer lovers will stick to the brews. The good news is there are three (previously four) mondo-sized beers either debuting or returning this Friday. Bow & Arrow introduces Thief of Time Barleywine, for those who want to stick with the malt-forward beers a bit longer, while the others are going with hop-forward offerings. Red Door unveils its first New England IPA at all of its locations. (Editor’s note: It runs out Marble will not have DIPA Especial ready for Friday.
