HOLLAND — Alice in Wonderland in Holland? Yes, that happened. On Saturday, New Holland Brewing Company hosted its Hatter Days Street Party outside the taproom in downtown Holland. The annual event is a summer celebration of food, music and — of course — their series of Hatter beers. The event is an amazing birthday celebration for the brewery, which opened in 1996. Thousands of revelers celebrated 17 years of New Holland beer with the brewery throughout the day. With music lasting from 4 p.m. into the night, the live music was a “can’t miss” in the alley next to the brewery. Headliner Stepdad played to an energetic crowd. The Alice in Wonderland theme provided great people watching opportunities. From the Queen of Hearts to the White Rabbit, it was a mad scene. The street performers, including Daredevil Circus, provided entertainment. And, there were plenty of family friendly games available. But the true star of the event was the beer.
